walking in a...

From the National Weather Service:

SNOW WILL ACCUMULATE AN INCH AN HOUR THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON AND INTO THIS EVENING...WITH ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 OR 3 INCHES AN HOUR LIKELY AT TIMES ACROSS COASTAL...SOUTHERN AND CENTRAL AREAS OF MAINE AND NEW HAMPSHIRE. THIS WILL LEAVE ANYWHERE FROM 6 TO 18 INCHES OF SNOW ACROSS THE REGION...WITH THE LOWEST AMOUNTS IN THE MOUNTAINS AND THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS ACROSS SOUTHEAST NEW HAMPSHIRE AND SOUTHWEST MAINE. A FEW LOCATIONS MAY EVEN TOP 20 INCHES OF SNOW FOR THIS EVENT.

Needless to say, it's white out. As such, I've decided to change the design of the blog. At least temporarily.

Welcome to winter in Maine.

  1. Update, please. Can you see out your windows or has the snow completely covered them? Can you get out your front door? Did you go to the store to buy toilet paper before the storm hit? These are important details!!!
